Professional Experience:

For the past twenty-eight years, Crystal has been working with experts in the beauty business. Her professional career started at McGuire Air Force Base Beauty Shop like a stylist, and she has held many management positions at Hair Cuttery, Sears Beauty Salon (Moorestown Mall), Endivo Salon (Cherry Hill, NJ), and Clique Salon & Spa (Burlington, NJ). Crystal returned to school to further her training and received various certificates and awards that have led her to a career as a Master Stylist. This experience led Crystal to assume the position of Lead Color Stylist for Aveda where she traveled and trained staff in the Tri-State area salons in the Art of Color. From 2007-2012, Crystal went into business with partners to open H’venly Beauty Salon & Spa in Mt. Holly, New Jersey. Crystal later decided to open her own salon and call it “I SAY YES SALON & SPA, LLC” which opened its doors on June 4, 2012, in Delanco, New Jersey. In September 2013, Crystal completed her certification and became the South Jersey instructor with the ESSATIONS/NAKED Company which is a Multi-Textural Hair Collection Company based in Chicago, Illinois.

Crystal has become a hair and beauty expert, businesswoman, educator, and philanthropist. She is sought after as a lead stylist in various assignments such as Atlantic City Fashion Show, New York Fashion Week, Philly Fashion Week, Forman Mills Commercials, Miss Black America, photoshoots, beauty pageants, and recently at the Broadway & Ballet Hero Awards (Hair Team Marcello Costa). Crystal sits on the Board of Empire Beauty School (Cherry Hill, NJ), and she gives a lot of her time and talents to Veterans and also women suffering from cancer or cancer survivors. Her passion is helping young former incarcerated girls feel good about themselves. In July 2017, Crystal made the front cover of Queen Size Magazine as a businesswoman and hair expert. She was asked to write monthly articles
