I am a Master loctician, specializing in locs, I have a passion for healing what ails the hair and skin. I'm seeking education that will help me achieve my goals of expanding a hair and skin care product line for troubled skin. I have been in the hair industry for nearly 10 years, I've started my product line Haku Holistics and I'm currently working on the path that will help me reach my goals. My website is www.hakuholistics.com, I'm also on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, come find me!
What I enjoy most about the work I do is the deep, strong connection I have established with my clients that will last forever.

A thorough consultation is completed therefore a one on one meeting has to be scheduled in person.
I have nearly ten years of on the job, hands on experience where I have apprenticed in every position within a salon outside of owning one under master stylists. I will complete my cosmetology license and my Board certification for Trichology in 2018. I also have experience being aboard a stylist tean for a couple of fashion shows in 2017.
I have a standard pricing system that is the base for how I work and it is catered to every situation.
My brother asked me to help him start his hair salon in Washington, DC and I moved there to be with him for 6 years and Loc Lov Salon was born.
My customers range between the ages of 20 to 65, middle to upper class, multi-races (African-American, Caucasian, Asian), predominantly female and anywhere from college bound to professional athletes to council members working on the hill.
A fashion show in New York for the Master Pioneer Awards that I had the pleasure of being apart of as a member of the natural hair stylist team.
I would advise someone looking to hire a natural hair stylist to ask the right questions. Have an idea of what you want, create a Pinterest board of where you'd like to go at least. Believe that their recommendation for you is what may suit you best for what your goal is even if it may not be what you had envisioned. Last but not least, get a second opinion from another expert in the same field.
Will their experience suit your needs or wants? If their experience is far from what you think may serve you, can they bring something to the table that a more traditional background can not? Will they be able to handle all your needs?
