What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask each customer what their vision is for their design. Whether it is a Wedding, Sympathy, Birthday or Anniversary we want our clients to be happy with our work. Each order created will be photographed and sent directly to the customer. We do not deliver any arrangement unless it has approval. The floral stems, the color choice, and even the container has to bring a smile to their face or we will work together to make it just perfect!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a florist for 27 years and I still LOVE what I do! We deliver smiles! Keeping up with the newest designs, belonging to a nation wide floral network keeps us on top of the last eat styles and designs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We work with clients budgets. Our minimum charge is $50.00 for delivery. If you would like your arrangement picked up from our shop we work with you at the amount you feel comfortable with. We want you to be happy and walk away with a smile on your face.
How did you get started in this business?
I was born in The Netherlands (Holland) world known for their love of flowers. My Grandmother was my mentor by teaching me the technique of floral design along with her recipe to make flowers last longer. I still use that receive today in all of my arrangements! Floral design is an art, it can be taught but it's up to you to "feel" the design and bring it to your hands.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We design Weddings, Sympathy, Birthday, Anniversary and so much more! We are a small intimate shop that have clients with all different wants, needs and desires. Young or old, contemporary or traditional, we strive to make all of your visions come to a reality.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love designing Weddings!! When Brides come back to the shop and hug me, and thank me that's what it is all about!
What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?
Are you comfortable with the florist? Do you feel totally at ease that her design set will be memorable? Does she show you the actual floral stems so that you can see them, touch them and smell them? Read reviews on the florist through Yelp or Google. Reviews can be very helpful if you are indecisive in what direction to turn.
