Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer will come in go through a consultation discuss art, location, size and price. If it's a large or custom piece we set an appointment with deposit so we can have the art ready. If it's small or basic work we usually will have the customer in the chair within 30 minutes of taking payment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All artist have a background involving design or art related training. They have dose extensive time in learning proper techniques in tattooing that only come from on hand experience that can not be matched with a classroom.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We can price by the piece or by the hour. Either way it averages $100/hr. We do offer a Tap Out SPECIAL. $450 will buy the artist for up to 8 hours to touch up design or freestyle the work you desire. Stipulations apply, details will be dicussed upon consultation.
How did you get started in this business?
I personally have been getting tattooed for going on 16 years and wanted to provide the same service I personally enjoyed so much but in an atmosphere and design for customer comfort I wanted to personally see or recieve.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with people of all income levels, nationalities, genders, or outlooks of life. We do not discriminate against any paying customer. Your body is yours and we are not here to pass judgement on how anyone decorates it.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our Houston Astros went to the World Series!!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are legal and licensed with experience and a proper portfolio that meets your needs.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Always make sure to discuss the art and time frame. No quality can be accomplished if the artist is rushed due to a customer poorly scheduling tattoo work around other plans and make sure that you are happy with the art when price is agreed upon. Adding extra last second mid tattoo dose not make them free.
