I love music, so I have the opportunity to share with others and help facilitate a good time at parties and weddings. Nothing better than keeping 150 people dancing for a few hours, a good time.

A good DJ, regardless of genre or style, should have a collection of music that they know back to front. They should be more than competent in all types of equipment & understand how a system is connected & set up. Whether they use software or not, they should be able to beat matches by ear & recognize keys by ear & correct as needed. They should understand the flow, and be able to construct a set suitable for the attending crowd & appropriate to the time of night. They should be able to recognize when their expectation turns out to be wrong & thus rearrange their set on the fly. When playing as part of a night with other DJs, they should respect their place in the night as a whole & play accordingly. When playing, they should add value to the music being played such that it becomes, in that instant, a unique experience.
