Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually the client will convey their interest in the style of food that they want, whether it’s French, Italian or Mediterranean for example. Then I will submit a draft menu based on that inspiration and will let them know to feel free to make any changes or additions. When the menu and date is approved a deposit is made.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
The prices are pretty basic.
Special event catering ranges from $100 to $150 per person plus the cost of the groceries. Minimum is 2 and max is 10. The more people the less cost per head.

How did you get started in this business?
My Uncle Jimmy worked his whole life in the Navy and traveled all around the world. He used to come visit us and tell us these stories of all these wonderful places he visited.
He inspired me both from the kitchen and also the travel.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked with all sorts of folks from all walks of life. Couple celebrating a wedding anniversary on a yacht, a group of women for a bachelorette cooking class and retired senior citizen looking to eat healthy.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently did a birthday dinner for a group of friends who belong to a dinner club. They love food and this was a repeat customer. You could tell how much they all loved each other and it was an honor to be in their company.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Just try to express what it is that you're looking for. Also look at their reviews and what other folks have to say about thier experience.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How many guest, what kind of food and the type of table ware...will they have the right amount of plates and so on.
