Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
With our years of experience, If you are looking for any vendors, I would suggest:
1) Check all of your vendors reviews and testimonials before hiring them to make sure you are hiring someone dependable and make sure you sign a contract to reserve you day!
2) At least a phone call, to see if they are a good fit. This also may help with your being undecided. If you need call them more than once. This could be a determining factor. This may be a way to make a final decision.
3) To look and see if, they have awards, how dedicated they are in what they do and accomplishments they have made. This also, may help with your being undecided and be a determining factor.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Think through what you want and your needs before talking to pros about your event. At the end of the day, do you want a memorable event? The cost can cost your event. The price is what you pay for professional services. One thing I believe holds true, if you have good food and great music, you will have awesome pictures!
Think through what is important and not to you, I suggest making a list of what is important and not to you. Make to columns, in column one what is most important and in column two whats least important, weigh the pros and cons.
Think about the questions you will most likely be asked.
The specific type of event you need music services for.
How many hours you need music for.
What music services will you need; ceremony, cocktail, dinner and/or reception dance.
The access is important for your guests and vendors. Your vendors will need to know and may be have make a difference on the estimate they give you. Does the venue have easy straight walk-in? Is there elevator or stairs? How many stairs? Are the stairs normal or abnormal size? 6", 8" 12" or larger? What is the height of stairs? Is there a steep incline or decline? Is the incline oe decine 60°, 70° ?
How far the entertainment needs to set up. What is the distance from unloading to set up? Approximently, how many feet?
