Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My playlist is based on the demographic and theme of your event. I will always discuss the music options with you beforehand so we're on the same page and you know what to expect. A list of artists and songs that you would like to hear at your event is always appreciated.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began my music career in the early 80s as a disc jockey on WYRE, a college radio station in Waukesha, WI. I also played bass for the Milwaukee punk rock band NRK. Many bands followed over the years culminating with Milwaukee's premiere progressive surf rock band THE REVOMATICS where we opened for the B-52s, DICK DALE, UNKNOWN HINSON, THE TRASHMEN, THE MADEIRA and BLACK CROWES guitarist RICH ROBINSON.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
As every gig is a little different my fee is based on a per job basis. This includes the size, type, duration and location of your event as well as my travel time. Let me know what you're looking for and I will provide you with a quote.
How did you get started in this business?
As a teenager I would always be asked to be the DJ at parties for friends and relatives. I've literally been DJing off and on for 30 years!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've toured nationally and have recently performed at Ohana Luau at the Lake at the Tiki Resort in Lake George, NY as well as the Vintage Motofest at Road America. Some current and past clients include Midwest Magic Fest, OpenBox Weddings, The Corners of Brookfield, Wauwatiki, Lucky Joe's A&E, The Love Shack, Wisconsin Athletic Club, Sanford Restaurant, Boston Store, Boone & Crockett, Barnacle Bud's, Symco Hodrods & Kustoms and the Chicago Area Tiki Tour, among many others.
