What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins by us speaking so that I can figure out your exact need, whether it's alterations or a custom piece you would like made. Next, is to discuss a price, and once agreed, we meetup in order to take exact measurements for custom or alterations. Time frames with also be discussed and a range will be given each piece varies based on style, fabric, and the creative process each piece requires. I look forward to working with you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am trained in pattern making, draping, grading, design, and illustration. I have an A.A. Degree in Fashion Design, and a B.S. Degree in Fashion Design, and Merchandising.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Prices are determined based on style of garments, fabric content, and the number of hours needed to complete the garment or alterations. This will be determined once we speak in detail about your needs.
How did you get started in this business?
I've always been a creative and started by styling myself in mixed prints and sporty chic looks, then I decided that I wanted to take it to the next level and create garments for myself and other so there my educational journey began and I been working every since. Now, I'm looking to expand my business and team, this platform is an amazing resource.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with Couture clients creating custom garments as well as with stylist, performing alterations for their private clients, and with design companies sewing production and trade show samples as well as samples for runway shows. These wide range of experience has given me the foundation I need to provide excellent service and a wide range of needs.
