About
A great wedding ceremony does not happen by itself. It takes planning, preparation, coordination, and experience. Pastor Edward Black has served the wedding community for over 29 years as an ordained Officiant.
His warm, welcoming and often humorous style will immediately put you and your guests’ right at ease! He will work with you to create a unique ceremony, vows, exchanges, giving you the ceremony you've always dreamed of!
Pastor Ed considers it a privilidge and an honor to unite couples, and will, without a doubt, make sure your day reflects you both! You'll notice Pastor Ed will work hard to bring the perfect balance to your wedding ceremony: Enough warmth, humor and lighthearted moments during the ceremony to put everyone at ease, and balance that with intimate and sentimental moments as you say your vows. Pastor Ed tell couples all the time, “There is nobody else leading the feel and style of your wedding like the officiant. He's the only other person speaking in your ceremony.” That's why Ed works diligently to capture your personalities and create perfect moments that reflects you both. He would never want your guest to look at their watch and say, “When is this going to be over?”
When at all possible, we recommend a rehearsal a night or two before, to make sure everyone is comfortable with the ceremony. Call Ed today to reserve your date on his calendar! (916) 276-8795 or email him at [email protected].
Pastor Ed will make sure your wedding is perfect for you and looks forward to helping you plan your wedding. Most ceremonies last between 15 - 20 minutes, depending on any additions to the ceremony, such as a sand ceremony, special readings by a guest or family member, or a song or two. He's also happy to work with another officiant if you have a family member or another member of the clergy that needs to be a part of the ceremony.
