Travel areas: Counties of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Ventura and Kern. However, WBRCC is authorized to officiate anywhere in the United States.
Venue ideas: beaches, vineyards, parks, backyards, boats, hilltops, chapels, hotels, courthouses, government buildings, pool sides, vacation rentals, restaurants, event halls, country clubs and jails, etc.
Ceremony options/preferences: civil (nonreligious) or religious with readings and passages. Diversity and inclusion for all is welcome.
Insurance: WBRCC is insured by Performing Entertainers & Event Professionals
Marriage certificate/license: The couple must obtain a marriage certificate/license from any County Clerk-Recorder in California. WBRCC will file the certificate/license with the County Clerk-Recorder on the couple’s behalf. California state law does not permit an officiant to sign a marriage license from another state.
All-inclusive fee: WBRCC fee is based on time involved with couple, time writing the ceremony script, travel (within North Santa Barbara County and South San Luis Obispo County), time spent at the ceremony and filing of the certificate/license. Any travel outside of those geographical boundaries, will increase the overall fee.
Fee details: Creation of a personalized ceremony script, unlimited contact time with the couple/family, filing of the marriage license with the County, detailed instructions given to witnesses to properly complete their portion of the marriage license, travel expenses, a (scanned unofficial) copy of the marriage license
Payment options: Fees are due in advance of the ceremony. No money is accepted on the day of the ceremony. A 10% discount is offered to active-duty military couples.
