Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first meeting is very informal and at a public place like Starbucks. This is a free with no obligation meet up. At this meeting, couples share their ceremony vision and expectations with me. We also talk about their love story, how they met, and their future dreams.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My college background in creative writing and theatre arts helps bring together the words that tell your love story. I am also an active member of many Wedding Officiant organizations. I am an ordained Wedding Officiant through t American Marriage Ministry and the Universal Life Church. I am also a commissioned California Notary Public.

How did you get started in this business?
My BFF asked me if I would officiate her wedding being held on 11-11-11. I did the research, got ordained, practiced, and practiced some more. The wedding was beautiful and a new Wedding Officiant was born. Since then, I have had the pleasure and honor of bringing many couples together in marriage.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all kinds of clients. Some couples know exactly what they want and others are just beginning their wedding ceremony journey. I help guide the ones who need to find their way and fine tune those who have it right.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently was called by a couple who had just gotten their county license at the courthouse. The courthouse had no openings for a same day wedding ceremony. I was able to meet this couple at a local park and I was able to marry them that same day. In talking with them while signing the necessary paperwork, it turns out that the groom was the hospice nurse for a relative of ours a couple of years ago. Good Karma strikes again!
