Wedding Pastor John
About
After officiating for 195 weddings over 45 years, I can honestly say that if I do your wedding it will be meaningful and memorable. Rushing through a perfunctory service is not my style. Your guests will know you better, feel like that I've known you years and you will be so glad that we worked together. Let's talk and see if I can serve you on your special day!

Pre-Marriage Counseling: $150 a session
How did you get started in this business?
I did my first wedding in 1978 for a friend. I still stay in touch with many of my clients. I have officiated almost 200 weddings. I love destination weddings, outdoor or church based.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds. Faith based as well as those who want a more personal touch but don't consider themselves religious. I promise you that your wedding will be both meaningful and memorable.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My next wedding is on Feb.14 in Malibu. He was 71 and she was a little younger. They also had me do their pre marriage counseling!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you connect chemistry wise and that this isn't their first rodeo! :) They should have wedding outline forms, samples of previous weddings, etc. They should want to get to know you. I see this as a ministry so that the ceremony reflects who they really are.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. Determine your budget. Like anything, you get what you pay for!
2. Decide what you want. It is your day. Don't be afraid to ask!
3. Don't wait til the last minute to "book" your officiant. He/she can make or break your day!
