About
We have a passion for media capture. This is what we live for and we're very proud of our work. By being emotionally attached to each project, our desire to provide the best possible product shines through.
When we see (or hear, read, etc) a client's reaction when they're thrilled with the product, there's absolutly nothing better. Big smiles, high fives, "Are you kidding me?!" are just some of the reactions we've gotten and that's our sign that we did our job. While the client and I may not always agree on what looks good, as long as they're happy, we're happy.
I love working with a new client and learning about their past video experience, goals and expectations for our project together.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every project is different and must be approached as such. My first questions is typically, "What do you want to accomplish with this media?" Once we understand the message that needs to be conveyed, we can begin structuring a plan to visually tell that story.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While attending college at the University of Montana I gained a large about of fundamental knowledge regarding story telling, computer software, and best business practices. I've also recieved professional training from a seasoned drone pilot in New Mexico, give presentations and educate the public about the safe, legal and fun side of aerial media. CamSaleFilmDept is also speaking with our local Chief of Police regarding drone laws and trainings.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Although each project is unique and requires a dedicated approach, we do have standard hourly, half day and full day rates. We want to hear about your project and ideas and don't want cost to be a factor right off the bat. Send us a message! Let's get the coversation started and we can talk about pricing when the time is right.
How did you get started in this business?
I'll never forget the day I was just experimenting with different GoPro angles on my mountain bike. I was just riding around in a parking lot and trying new and exciting camera angles. Once I realized the power of these small cameras, I had found my passion. The business slowly formed when I moved to Breckenridge, Colorado. We introudced aerial media back in 2015 and haven't looked back. The sky is no longer the limit!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our clients come from all walks of life. We've worked with the likes of Discovery Channel, luxury and commerical real estate, industrial solar panel and windmill blade inspection, TV commercials and shows, even a few world records!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Just last week (early March '17) I got to fully direct my first video and it was just an incredible experience. We wanted to enter an OutsideTV contest with the grand prize being a 6-day ski trip to Patagonia, so you could say we were motivated!
We filmed my girlfriend commuting to work...on her snowboard! Where we live is technically ski in, ski out, so we spent all day filming her ride to work. At the moment our entry is moving up in the rankings quickly and we have a good feeling about the outcome!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Communication is essential in the video production process. The goal of a shooter/producer should be to truly understand what the client's specific needs are and to convey that with images. Sending a videographer example videos that you like is very helpful, as they can take subtle notes of what "makes a video look good".
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
-What is the goal of this video? (i.e., get more likes on Facebook, book more scenic tours, increase awareness of a cause, sell a home, etc)
-Which rights to I recieve after purchasing a video from you?
-How long will the process take from start to finish?
