About
As a preamble heads up, the pricing model native to Fash doesn't make much sense in the food business. I'd be much happier to discuss a meal and service level that make sense for your needs and figure out a workable cost, rather than relying on the inputs this site requires. As such, all the costs provided here are just baseline estimates.
My name is Noel Purcell, and I am a private chef and caterer for events. I started as a hobbyist cook for roommates and tailgates in college at Penn State and during law school at Boston University, as well as writing about food and creating recommendation lists for restaurants and bars. Eventually, I retired from practicing law and followed my passion for food. I attended The Culinary Institute of America's Accelerated Culinary Arts Program in Napa, California, graduating in May 2023 while also working as a line cook in fine dining. Now, I'm back home in New York doing private cooking for individuals and families, catering and live cooking for events, and even teaching some casual cooking classes. My industry credentials might be a bit green as someone who took a unique path to cooking, but I'm smart, talented, efficient, clean, and hungry to build a quality reputation. As a former trial attorney and public defender, I thrive under pressure. As a former academic, I'm a quick study and very effective at converting research into action, which makes me a very flexible cook in terms of potential menus. I'm confident I can make just about anything you want, and make it better than anyone else out there.
