About
Why use a private Wedding Florist?
Attention to Detail -
As a private florist, your wedding will be my sole focus. All flowers are ordered specifically for your wedding, and ordered no more than 24-48 hours before your event.
No overhead costs -
Not having a store front means that I don’t have to overcharge for your wedding. Your flowers are purchased from the same wholesalers as other florists, at the same dis-counts and those savings are passed to you.
Weddings are all I do
My goal is to make sure that your special day is filled with fabulous flowers. In order to do just that, I only do weddings. I have time to dedicate all my strength into your special day.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They call or email me, send me pictures of what their ideal ceremony, reception and bridal flowers would look like. I make an appointment with them to discuss flower choices, budget, and their needs.
A contract is emailed to them of which states all the terms of securing their wedding date (since I only take one wedding a day because I believe my attention should be on every detail of your wedding flowers). After they secure the contract, they usually get sneek peeks of my progress on their flowers.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I apprenticed under a lady in Va Beach that has since retired. I spent 15 yrs working for her on every opportunity I could and learning every detail of her business.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Standard pricing is not something I do. I base every wedding on each bride and her budget.
How did you get started in this business?
I took a chance after doing private weddings for family and friends for the past 10 years. Several people, including photographers said that I needed to do this full time and here I am.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Every type imaginable. Just like flowers, no two customers are alike.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just recently completed a wedding that the ceremony took place in a church and the reception in a facility an hour away. I had to not only decorate the church, but also drop off the centerpieces at the reception location.
I was not the coordinator for this wedding, but when I arrived at the reception location I noticed that the linens and items had not been set on the tables. I had a choice, as a professional, to just drop the centerpieces off (as per the contract) or to get the tableclothes set and arrange the centerpieces in order to make the event smoother.
I placed the tableclothes and so glad I did, because the caterer arrived about an hour late and that would have thrown the entire reception timeline.
I take pride in what I do and the service I provide. I am not the florist that is going to walk in and drop off your flowers and be done. I want to see the bride's face when she sees her bouquet for the first time. These are personal moments for both her and me.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find someone who absolutely you connect with. Not just because their designs fit your budget or you think they are the prettiest designs you've ever seen. There are plenty of large companies that do gorgeous designs, but do they see you as a number or as a friend. Do they connect with you?
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Date - most professionals have already started booking a year in advance. Since I won't take more than 1 wedding a day, date is the first thing I look for when someone contacts me. I don't want to waste their time if I'm not available on the date they choose.
