What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try and gather as much information as I can before our first in person interaction. Either by doing my own research or by asking lots of questions on our initial call or requesting documentation or info on the project in question via email. I also often make site visits prior to making an initial quote in order to gain as much relevant knowledge as possible.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always ask lots of questions and discuss worst case scenarios and how they would accomodate if necessary. Nobody wants to be surprised with unexpected fees or charges.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Come up with a REALISTIC budget for your project and be respectful of the professionals time.
