Hello everyone, I'm thrilled to share a bit about myself and my business, NIMBA. I've been in the food industry for 5 years now, and although I didn't attend culinary school, I've carved out a niche for myself through passion and dedication. I've been fortunate to win the award for the best Jollof in Chicago for two consecutive years. My catering services have been in high demand, having served notable figures like the Mayors of Aurora and Chicago, as well as celebrities including Davido, Rema, Burna Boy, Uncle Waffles, FireBoy, Bnxn, and Chance The Rapper. I've also worked with major organizations like Live Nation.

My business, NIMBA, operates a popular food trailer in the Bronzeville Hyde Park area. As a first-generation Liberian-Ivorian, I love to blend the culinary traditions of my heritage with flavors from around the world, reflecting my love for global cuisine. We pride ourselves on using ingredients sourced from local farms and gardens in Chicago, with some special items imported directly from Africa.

One of my special skills is customizing our menu to suit each customer's preferences, ensuring a unique dining experience every time. We also respect dietary preferences by offering vegan and vegetarian options. Additionally, we host cooking classes as a way to build connections with culture in the community and to preserve sacred ingredients. We offer themed decorations to complement our catering services, making every event special. I'm excited to continue growing NIMBA and sharing my culinary creations with more people. Thank you!
