I'm Pastor Justin at Nexus Church in Lenexa, KS.
We're a nondenominational church that shares the love of Christ with everyone we can. I have a passion for walking couples through the unity of marriage, and strive to be there every step of the way.
We would start the process with an in person or zoom meeting (depending on your schedule) where I guide you through all the options for your service service. I run you through my starting script, and then tailor it to make it personal to you all. I have tons of traditional, modern, contemporary, poetic, vows to choose from or we can talk through the process of writing your own. I have the same for the ring ceremony. The goal is to find something that fits your personalities, celebrates your history, and sets up your future as one!
We'll also cover the other elements of service that you all may or may not want (i.e. communion, unity candles, cord of three strands, etc.) We'll then go back and forth making adjustments until it's exactly the way you like.
I'm not only there for the rehearsal, but I take it very seriously. It's important to make sure you both, and your wedding parties are comfortable for you big day.
The day of your wedding, I'm am at your disposal. If you'd like me to do more than just the ceremony whether it's a prayer before the service or right before dinner, just say the word. Together we'll make it a day you'll never forget.
My wife and I also offer a 4-week premarital class leading up to your big day. Let me know in our first meeting if you are interested and we'll see if it fits in the schedule.
