About

Your ceremony is an unforgettable celebration of love. I specialize in helping you to create the special and personal marriage ceremony and vow renewals that reflect your wishes, experiences and interests. You will decide exactly the type of ceremony you want: large or small, formal or casual. You may want the ceremony to be laced with tradition, or to be filled with personal touches that show the qualities and individualities of the two of you. You may know exactly what you want, but if not, I can provide some direction. As we work together, we will create a ceremony that you and your guests will remember and cherish.

Frequently asked questions

The process is fairly simple. A License to Marry is required and may be obtained from any City or Town Hall in Massachusetts. Once you have the license in hand, I may solemnize the marriage within 60 days. The charge is set by The Commonwealth of MA at $150.00 plus $50.00 Reservation Fee in any MA location. A simple ceremony is 10 minutes long but may be customized, at small additional cost depending on your choices. Many couples find that the basic ceremony is exactly what they are looking for, while others choose special customizations which rarely exceed an additional $100 - $150. This can all be discussed upon meeting and there is no charge for an initial meeting.

I usually meet with couples in advance at a mutually convenient Starbucks or Panera if that works for you. I am available to meet most evenings around 6:30 PM or on weekends unless I am out of town for business. Please let me know a couple of dates that we could meet, and we can set it up.

I am a commissioned Justice of the Peace in Massachusetts.
