Yelestitches, has proven shrewdness, dexterity and consistency over the years. One thing that sets the brand apart from others, for me, is the keenness to preserve customer relationships. Time after after, theyve gone lengths to ensure beyond business, that I am happy with what I got. Yelestitches is my Walmart of fashion brands. Lol! Sincerely I cant wait to see them grow big and hoist their flags alongside the market leaders in the fashion industry! They are truly deserving

    Frequently asked questions

The first step is getting accurate measurements of my client because without that, there won't be a great fit.

After this, we discuss the dress design they want, the general idea or if there is a template they want me to work with.

We talk about the fabrics and materials they want for the dress style, I give my opinion on what i think about it but most of it is based on what my client wants.

We then talk about the elephant in the room, which is the price of the dress, based on the materials, the hours I will put in and how complicated the dress design is.

If the client and I then agree on a price, a deposit of 60% of agreed price is made and then, I move on to purchase the materials, make the dress according to measurements and have it shipped to my client.

Most times, there is no need for alterations but on the off-chance that there is , the dress can be shipped back to me for the final fitting.

When my client is satisfied, the remaining 40% is paid and then, they always come back because they really love the way they look.

I learned to use the manual sewing machine as a teenager, then years after that, while in the university, I took up an Enterpreneurship course on Fashion Design, where I learned the basics of cutting dress patterns. After the three-month course, I went on to the all-knowing YouTube to gather lots of information on pattern making on a broader scale.

I also read and practiced with the Pattern drafting books by Tomoko Nakamichi.

I keep learning everyday, never stop and keep getting better.

My standard pricing for my expertise and workmanship is $45 per hour, cost of materials not included.

I started sewing as an hobby and as a way to make dresses that fit me perfectly. While doing this, i got lots of compliments on my dresses and then people would walk uo to me and ask if I could make a replica for them. At first, I turned the offers down but when it became rampant, I gave in and then started making wears for other people besides myself.

I started my business in Nigeria, and moved to the United States.

I work with the female customers, most sizes, different ethnic groups, heights and what not.

The most recent event that I am fond of was the last fashion show my most recent collection was featured in. My designs were so well appreciated, the organizers asked that my designs close the show.

That was a wonderful moment for me, one I am so fond and proud of.

I would advice them to not settle for less with whatever they need.

With that said, I would advice the customer to hire ME because I do not settle for less either.
