What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers come in for a consultation with our artists. Once they have spoken to someone about their artwork, an appointment would be made with the artist for your tattoo date. You came the day of and enjoy your tattoo experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Duke Ellington School of the art and apprenticed under Mitchell MD Stylez.

How did you get started in this business?
17 years ago, Topp Dogg was started for the community by Daryl for people that wanted great artwork for a reasonable price. We started in Camp Springs and moved through the DMV and has migrated to Rockville. Tattooing thousands in the DMV area. Great customer service is one of our best qualities.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We cater to all customers 18 and older. We have a various demographic. The reason I love art.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Watch your artist and make sure that they are clean at all times. Ask plenty of questions and take a look at their work. Research your artist before you sit in their chair. The more you know, the better you will feel.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do they use disposable needles?
Do they freehand or stencil?
Do they charge by the hour or piece?
