Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask the Customer what they are looking for, timeframe, dietary and allergy restrictions, budget and if there is an overall theme
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-taught, but I do take demo classes and other culinary skills classes to stay sharp on my game.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
How did you get started in this business?
I come from a musical background but landed into private chef work because it is another vehicle that I use to create from that I enjoy. It started off cooking in my apartment in college and then a food webshow in the early 2010s and now word of mouth dinners and catering event for small parties
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with working class and middle class clients for birthdays, anniversaries, surprise romantic dinners(my favorite) funerals and holidays
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love doing the Valentine's day events because I am a romantic at heart and I love making the guy look great for his lady or just enhancing their celebration of love
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you have a budget that we can work with, know your limitations as we have to know ours as well and price for them too. Be as specific as possible and its okay if you and the potential Chef do not meet eye to eye. As much as you are interested in buying our services, we are equally buying you as well.
