My name is Shane an I am a non-denominational (Protestant) pastor in Grand Rapids, MI. I have been officiating weddings for almost ten years. I provide ministry and service for people who attend our local church and people who do not (or cannot) attend our church. I also provide service to those who do not prctice Christian faith or have a faith background. I also provide pre/post marital counseling. I am a laid back and heavily tattooed minister. I believe in love as the greatest blessing we can give and receive. I love to help couples plan and prepare for their wedding ceremony. I count it both a privilege and honor to be invited into the best and most beautiful day two people can share.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet up (face to face) with an inquiring couple to get acquainted or answer any questions. However, I am not opposed to talking via email or mobile phone. Once a couple has decided on me to officiate the wedding we will discuss the wedding date, option of pre-marital counseling, and wedding ceremony details.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a pastor for almost twenty years and have been officiating weddings for almost ten years. I have a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry and biblical studies from Briercrest College and a master's degree in Intercultural Ministries (Missions) from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary.
