Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally, I try to speak with the engaged couple at least twice to give us time to talk about what they have in mind and what they want their special day to look like. I want to know more than where and when to show up to give you a generic wedding, I want to make it more meaningful and more personal. I am willing to meet on the phone, online, or in person.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to 25 years of professional pastoral experience, I have my Docotrate of Ministry from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
A wedding ceremony of less than an hour is $100.
Should extensive travel be required (more than 25 miles one way), I would expect compensation for fuel.
Should couples desire premarital counseling, this can be arranged. I usually meet with couples 3-5 times at a cost of $50 per session.
How did you get started in this business?
I have been a pastor for more than 25 years, and I have fallen in love with sharing this special moment with couples.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Having performed more than 100 weddings, I have worked with all sorts of couples as we have planned many different kinds of weddings. My goal is to make sure that it is the experience that you want and will remember fondly forever.
