Samuel Bennett, Pastor And Officiant
About
My style is simple ceremonies containing whatever the Bride and Groom desire. The wedding day is for the Bride and Groom so the wedding ceremony should be what they want. Most of the weddings I have done have been Christian based, but I have done several that were not religious at all. I am comfortable with both. My wedding "charge" (instructional advice directed to the couple during the ceremony; sermon; message, etc.) is usually 5-7 minutes, and the couple has complete input as to the content.
I enjoy helping couples tailor their wedding ceremony to be exactly what they want. I find a lot of joy in helping couples formalize their loving relationship. I love being a part of that.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My normal process is to send a wedding ceremony planning checklist document, three sample ceremonies from recent weddings I have officiated, and a link to a google doc with a basic ceremony outline us to complete together as we go through the planning process. We script the entire ceremony together so the ceremony is exactly what the Bride and Groom desire.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in ministry for over twenty-five years and officiated over one hundred weddings.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
$300 plus any travel expenses such as a hotel room, airfare, etc. is the current standard rate in our area.
