I’ve been cooking as long as I can remember. My mom taught me how to cook. My mom was very influential and knowledgeable in a range of kitchen concepts. Along the way I taught myself. I love cooking it gives me a sense of peace. Cooking brings me a feeling of joy I can’t find anywhere other than the kitchen.

Im from CT born and raised. I currently reside in Charlotte and I cook for a huge well known company, that has a volume of about 1500-2000 employees a day. I run the deli station by myself prepping numerous sandwich items and custom sandwiches from scratch in a four hour time frame. I respect my customers, greet them with compassion and smile. I listen to their likes and dislikes and I provide a sandwich that warms their soul.

I’m a new up and coming business owner. I’m beginning to cater more and more in my free time outside of my regular daytime job. I provide a real interactive exciting experience with my guest. My guest enjoy my food and they are instantly taken back to a moment in time where they feel the food in their soul. My up and coming business Karensa Soul Experience is just that. Dedicated to my mom in heaven, you’ll have a plate of food you’ll never forget. My food makes you feel a remembered comfort, just for a moment you are taken back to an enjoyable experience you’ve had.

I would say that I specialize in diverse foods ranging from Caribbean , Latino to Italian cuisine. Soul food is also on the menu with a classic feel and my twist on it. From hot or cold hors d'oeuvres, to side dishes and entrees, I am able to fulfill all of my clients needs.
