About
To start off, I’ve been working in the industry for 12 years. Cooking has always been my passion since the age of 13. When I remember around that time helping my mom in the kitchen even if it just cutting onions. I would always be in the kitchen with my mom whenever she’s ready to cook. One day I told my mom I want to make dinner for the family for the first time. My first dish that I made around that time was fried okra stew with fried croaker fish. Seeing the facial expression on my family after making my first meal was very satisfying. From that moment I decided that I want pursue a career in the restaurant industry. When I reached that age where I can work, I took on my first restaurant job as dishwasher just to get my foot in the industry.
Throughout the years I’ve worked hard to go from dishwasher to being a Sous Chef and even an Executive Chef for restaurants out here in Raleigh, NC and even in NYC. I’ve even went to school and obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management and my Masters in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing. I took on those courses to polish up my knowledge and experience. I take pride in my work as a chef. I take pride in pleasing clients and going above and beyond just to see my clients happy and coming back. I am very attentive to details especially when it comes to food and services that clients are paying for.
