What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I don't take appointments. Come in during regular business hours and I will get things rolling right away!
Monday 9am-8 pm
Tues, Thurs and Fri 10am-6 pm
Sat 9 am- 12 noon
How did you get started in this business?
I learned to sew when I was 5 years old. the sewing machine's foot pedal on top of a shoebox so I could reach it! The rest is history!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
1. When it comes down to it, experience is key.
2. Trust word-of-mouth refurrals because they are from actual satisfied customers.
3. You are the consumer! Compare prices. A bridal salon and a good seamstress/tailor use the same machines.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Don't be afraid to ask questions!
Remember that the pro already has customers and a work load. They are not sitting idly waiting just for you. Don't wait till the last minute to think about your sewing needs.
