About

No officiant personalizes ceremonies like I do. I am a professional writer, take the time to REALLY get to know my couples, and weave their story into a message that puts a wedding ceremony over the top. I also include all the guests to make them feel as important as they deserve to be. After 27 years as a wedding photographer, I have heard the worst officiants and know I am among the best.

Frequently asked questions

I meet my couples first at a convenient location. Diners are great! We get to know each other and I delve into how they got together and what they truly want from their marriage. Afterward, I give them "homework" that they do not share. From this, I write their message.

I was a speech writer for upper executives at AT&T. I also preached in church for a long time. Scripting sermons and delivering them honed my presentation skills. I am creative and funny. Weddings HAVE to be joyous!!

A less involved ceremony is $350. One with a custom message, which takes hours to write, starts at $500. Travel may incur a $50 charge depending on distance. Sand ceremony elements are included in the latter package; the container is personalized for each couple.

I started as a wedding photographer in 1992. When I became certified to preach in 2007, I decided that it was time to show people how a wedding ceremony could really be effective. This was after hearing over 1,000 less than adequate ones.

EVERYBODY! Every ethnicity, creed, orientation, and demographic. All those who love deserve to have a beautiful ceremony.
