Everything! She put us at ease and was a pleasure to work with. From the very beginning, she took time to get to know us, and helped craft a ceremony that was beyond our expectations. Even on the rehearsal day, she set us at such ease we were able to really enjoy the ceremony without nervousness. Highly recommended.

    Frequently asked questions

We will meet at least 3 times: 1) First meeting to get to know each other, where I will get a sense of what your dream wedding service would be and how we can make that happen. 2) Second, I will be present to run (or assist your wedding planner in running) your rehearsal. 3) Third, I will be with you on your special day, providing a calm and reassuring presence throughout the ceremony. I am always available to answer additional questions or talk as is helpful. ** I am willing to drive up to 50 miles from Harrisburg, PA. ** If you are looking for a venue, consider my parish: https://uucv.org/about/meeting-house/
I have a Masters of Divinity from Lancaster Theological Seminary and am a candidate for a Doctor of Ministry through the Pacific School of Religion. I'm ordained and in fellowship with the Unitarian Universalist Association as well as an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Minister's Association.
The lower of either: $450 or 10% of your overall budget No budget? No problem! For a quick elopement, I only ask that you reimburse me for gas mileage!
I love being a UU minister because we work with people of all faith backgrounds. We do not assume a Christian faith, and often work to put together services that incorporate a wide variety of beliefs - or no spiritual beliefs at all!
I have presided over lesbian, gay, and straight weddings. I work with folks of all faith backgrounds, cultural backgrounds, and am especially familiar with putting together a service that minimizes the use of "God language" while still being palatable to more traditional guests who might attend.
