Keep It Simple (KIS) Wedding Officiant Service
About
I am a certified Wedding Officiant through American Wedding Ministries (AMM) and have been with them for six years. I developed "Keep It Simple" because I saw a need for simplified and creative wedding ceremonies. I take time to get to know couples and help them design a meaningful wedding ceremony that represents them. I have co-created and performed non-denominational and Christian based wedding ceremonies for straight and gay couples. I also have experience with blended families and creating Ceremonies where the children are involved.
I enjoy the creative process that takes place when I work with couples. I have resources for Ceremony development and am happy to assist couples with their vow development as needed. I have performed weddings all over the US and am happy to travel out of Oregon and Washington.
In addition to being an Officiant, I have 18 years of experience as a licensed Spiritual Practitioner with Centers for Spiritual Living. This has helped me work with couples in the development of creative and heartwarming ceremonies.
I hope we are a fit (:

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
2 months out from a wedding I have a zoom meeting with the couple. The first meeting is a discovery meeting where I get to know the couple and ask questions to help formulate what kind of wedding ceremony they would like to have. In this meeting we set up a timeline for different items needed for the wedding (suchas where to get your wedding License) and subsequent meeting times. Usually we meet via zoom 2-3 times to make sure all of the pieces and people are in place. I work with you as to when, where and what time the rehersal and the wedding is.
