I started my catering/personal chef business after getting years of compliments and being asked when would I start catering and/or restaurant.

All types of customers. Personal to business corporations.

Meal preps, private parties, weddings etc. Especially cooking for small crowds at parties. From 10-50 people.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
They should have a budget before seeking a professional caterer/chef.
