Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by discussing the client’s vision and any reference images they may have. Once we agree on the concept and price, and the client books their session with a deposit, we review the placement, size, and design details. I don’t begin the artwork until the session is officially booked. I always ensure a clean, professional, and comfortable experience from start to finish
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been tattooing professionally for over 20 years, specializing in black and grey, portraits, and Chicano-style work. My experience comes from years of hands-on training, studio work, and a deep passion for art and culture.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My rates typically start at $100 for small tattoos. Larger or custom pieces are priced by the hour or by the project. Portraits and detailed black & grey work start at $250. I provide upfront quotes after reviewing the design idea and placement.
How did you get started in this business?
I’ve always had a natural talent for drawing and the arts. As a kid, I was part of a community program that celebrated Hispanic culture and encouraged individual creativity. People noticed my style early on, and I began accepting commission work while still young. One day, a friend gave me a tattoo using a homemade machine — and something about the smell of ink and blood, the process itself, immediately pulled me in. From that moment, I knew this was more than just an interest. I was hooked on the idea of turning ideas into lasting art and making people happy through meaningful, personalized tattoos.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked with people from all walks of life — first-timers, tattoo collectors, professionals, artists, and everyone in between. Whether it’s a meaningful memorial piece, a bold portrait, or a Chicano-style design, I treat every tattoo with the same level of care and respect.
