Painful Afflictions

Well if my client is wanting some major work done then I usually like to sit down with them for 30 minutes or so and just discuss what they like what their interests are and I like to get to know them just a little bit so I can add that little personal touch to make whatever tattoo I end up doing for them suit their personality and attitude to make the work I do for them more personal and meaningful to them so they don't have  just another ordordinary tattoo.

I actually started tattooing when I was 15 years old with a little remote control car engine on my friends so I was immediately interested in this as a possible career for myself but it wasn't until I turn 19 and got my first professional tattoo kit that I really got into it. Here it is almost 25 years later and I have found the Fulfillment and passion like I have never found before with anything else they say if you do something you love you will never work a day in your life and that is so true because no matter whether I'm doing a simple little name or I am piecing together and putting together a full body suit I put the same amount of love and time into it so that when my clients walk away from their very last session and their tattoo is complete their expectations have been Blown Away

My pricing usually depends on the piece that I'm doing- it usually depends on the size how much detail color black and gray and actually how much fun I'm going to have doing it and whether I am going to be able to use my imagination with it or do exactly as the picture that they want

I've always been an artist ever since I was a small boy I would sit down and draw different things look at pictures and try and get an exact replica what I'm looking at but as I got older I started thinking of tattooing as a legitimate way to make money so I could stay off the streets and stay out of jail ever since that first moment when I touched a needle to skin with that freshener machine I was hooked and I never wanted to do anything else ever since then I can't say that it's all been super easy because I didn't have anyone there to help me or teach me I had to learn on my own but I honestly believe that that has helped me to find my own way in this industry I truly enjoy working with new people all the time and also enjoy special bond with most of my major clients tattooing is the one thing that I love that I never have to worry about anyone taking away from me or losing

Tattooing isn't just about doing the art tattooing is about selling yourself not just your art but yourself as well I have worked with some of the nicest most open-minded people but then I have also worked on people who are very very picky and meticulous to getting exactly what they want that can make it sometimes very difficult because creativity sometimes has a mind of its own but in the end it comes down to what the client really wants and I haven't let any of my clients down yet I've learned to deal with a different situations that different personalities and the different circumstances that each individual has that's why I say I will work with anyone and make them an offer they can't refuse on something that they may not feel they can afford

My advice to anyone thinking of getting a new tattoo is to never let someone work on you they can't instantly show you at least 50 pictures the things they have done and all of them look really really good

It comes down to deciding whether you trust your artist or not
