I believe that cooking is my joy of fulfilment to show love and share food to boost my guest's mood.
Caring about my clients is satisfying their needs through "Tasty Food to Boost Your Mood". I will design and set a menu to create the mood that pleases you and your guests.
I was born in Beirut, Lebanon - a cosmopolitan city on the eastern part of the Mediterranean-- where hospitality and entertaining with food is a tradition and a staple in my culture.
I pursued my passion for cooking when I moved to USA and completed a diploma in Hospitality Management - Culinary Art in 2013 while working and supporting my family. I continued updating my culinary skills by taking hands on courses in Chocolate making, Bread baking and Cake decorating.
In 2014 I joined Book@lokal, a unique dining experience in DC as a verified local Chef Entrepreneur. I hosted several Lebanese specialty brunches and three creative dinners. Through these events I introduced my Lebanese culture to my guests while letting them enjoy the many authentic dishes I prepared.
In 2015 I registered my company in Fairfax county and started showcasing my products at Springfield Chamber of Commerce and holiday markets and bazaars. I had the best experience interacting with people and feeling their love and interest in the distinctive flavors of my sweets and appetizers. I took part as a vendor at the International Women Day in March 2016 in Alexandria then at the AAUW Conference at Hyatt Regency Dulles Marketplace in April 2016. Later I showcased my products at the 2017 Annual meeting of the Rotary Club in Alexandria and at the Association of Women’s Business Centers Leadership Conference Reception & Marketplace in September 2017 at the Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alexandria.
All customers at the above events raved about my exotic sweets like my Signature cookies with cardamom, dates and walnuts & Turmeric squares and sold all the gift boxes during the holiday bazaars. Also, visitors to my showcase sampled my savory products and bought my special Zaatar tortillas in addition to the tasty and zesty Hummus and Baba Ghannouj dips.
