I am an ordained United Methodist pastor, licensed in Virginia but able to perform ceremonies just about everywhere. I have been officiating for over ten years and have seen just about everything! I do religious services and can adapt to many circumstances to make sure your day is meaningful, spiritual, inclusive, and comfortable for all in attendance.

I am appointed to a local church that is a beautiful little white wooden chapel, just 7 miles from the beach, perfect for your ceremony if desired. (The church has specific policies I can provide upon request.)

In the planning of your ceremony, I am skilled at bringing together the spiritual requests of the couple, parents, grandparents with the specific needs for the context and desires of the couple being married.

In addition to the wedding day, I provide pre-marital counseling to help the soon to be newlyweds start off with the best chance for success and a lifelong commitment.

What I love about the services I offer is that I get to be a calming presence that allows everyone involved in the wedding simply enjoy the day and make memories. I have been told that I am down to earth, seem like I’ve known the couple and their families forever (even if we recently met), and that I make everyone feel welcome. Even those in attendance who are not connected to a spiritual community have found the day meaningful and they usually find me at the reception to have a chat!

*Cost for services ranges from $250-$400 depending on amount of preparation required. If booked for a destination ceremony that requires an overnight stay, accommodations are at the expense of the couple and must be booked ahead of time.
