We hired Crystin for an elegant family dinner a few months ago, and she was phenomenal to say the least! Our consultation was professional and easy,she contacted us right away! Crystin took the time to zero in on our preferences and very specific details for the dinner. We were looking to splurge a bit as we were having out of town family members attending as well! The goal was to experience a 5 star dining experience right in our own home! Crystin arrived a few hours early to set up and begin preparing the meal, she was efficient, clean and very polite! Dinner was amazing and extremely flavorful, she was quite generous on our portions as well! After dinner she cleaned and packaged up our leftovers. I would definitely recommend this chef and would hire her again, we are STILL talking about this first time experience today!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A consultation via phone call will be set up with myself and new potential client. In this phone call we will discuss details of your event, menu items, desired price point and dietary restrictions, if any!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a personal chef for 6 years. I am a self taught chef for the most part but also have gone under training in a professional kitchen for food safety education.

How did you get started in this business?
I LOVE this question!! I have always loved cooking for family and close friends of mine from my teenage years! As I got older and began exploring fine dining and the way humble ingredients were being elevated I fell in love even more with food itself and the amazing ways to prepare and serve it. Not to mention the breath taking plating techniques! It was a no brainer for me to began my journey in culinary and take the passion/creativity I had to the next level. Going to a fancy restaurant is of course an exciting thing but for me to be able to bring the experience to someone’s home will ALWAYS be the most top tier!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have had the pleasure of working with all types of clients, from executives for their company parties, the working mom who just needs an extra hand in the kitchen, business owners for exciting grand openings, etc!

I am fond of every event I get the opportunity to cater and have a hand in bringing people together to enjoy amazing food!
