I usually give the bride and groom separate questionnaires to fill out by themselves--no comparing or sharing! From these, I craft vows that have always been incredibly moving. The bride and groom don't have to remember anything. They either respond yes or repeat some words after me. > Most couples have found this to be a lot less stressful, and much more meaningful, than writing and reading their own vows.

Because the service I write comes 100% from the information they give me, it is genuine. Even the couples themselves are often surprised and very moved to hear what their fiance wrote.

I also bring a complete sound system to every wedding, It's included in my fee. I've had weddings over the years where a DJ didn't show up or had equipment failure or the venue's system was locked or not working. It's all bluetooth so I bring all your music with me on playlists and handle sound and music while I'm officiating.

I love it when, during the ceremony, the bride and groom hear each other's thoughts and words that come from their questionnaires. There's always laughter, and usually a few tears, too.

Interacting with all of the wedding party, making sure they feel confident, boutonnieres are on correctly, helping to solve the dozens of little things that need to be done or fixed. It's often mayhem and very tense and emotional. I've done thousands of weddings. I'm good at calming the waters and bringing some humor.

Most of all, I fall in love with my couples. Over the years, I stay in touch through FB and stuff, anniversaries, births, kids mileposts...and sometimes as a minister for funeral.
