Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss the clients need or vision and decide on the best way to achieve it within their budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to 16 years of professional experience running my own business, I have a Bachelor of Science from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in Radio TV Film.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Corporate & Wedding work is based on $100 per hour for shooting and editing time. We offer discounts for non-profits and come up with flat rates when a specific budget is better than hourly billing.
How did you get started in this business?
A class in High School made me realize I wanted to go to college for it and pursue video production for a career.
What types of customers have you worked with?
International brands like NUK, Quickie, and Mueller Sports Medicine as well as local businesses and individuals.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
A good video company can make a project go smoothly and show you in the best light. Some may just be your best friend until the contract is signed then be more interested in the next sale than completing your project. Speak with the person who will be doing the work and see if you have a good feeling about collaborating with them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
If you had to pick one or two of these regarding your project which would they be... (it's not always possible to provide all 3).
