About
I believe in putting passion before price. A low price does not always mean a poor quality service! I absolutely love every single shoot and making that connection with each new person. I do not watch the clock, I do not nickel and dime and I want each of my clients to have a fantastic photo shoot. It is important that each "model" (yes, that is you!) feel wonderful and has a collection of photographs that they are proud to share, and will treasure forever. I do not watermark my photographs, nor do I place any copyright restrictions on them. This is about creating beautiful memories for you to cherish for many years to come. I often include free "gifts" for my valued clients - usually in the form of additional FREE enhanced photos.
I do real estate photography with Marketplace Homes.
I enjoy getting to know each person, find out what lights their fire, what makes them tick. Once the ice is broken and they feel confident, relaxed and are having fun - this is when their true essence shines in their eyes. Once I have found that, the camera will capture it.
I find every single person absolutely beautiful in their own way. Everybody is a unique individual and even though they may inwardly, or even outwardly, cringe at what they perceive as their "flaws", I can always find something that is beautiful about them.
Everybody has a story, everybody is fascinating to me and I enjoy bringing out the confidence in shy clients, especially. My favorite moments is when the wallflower turns into a veritable rock star once they have got those poses down and know they look fantastic! This is why I allow 2 hours for each shoot - the first hour is to just "shake off" the awkward feeling, and to practice flattering poses on camera, the second hour is to just let loose and enjoy the moment. Can you guess which photos look better?
I especially love working with animals and children because they have an innocence, wonder, curiosity and playfulness that is uncensored. I just love watching them be themselves and capturing those moments. To me, this also captures their true personality, and these natural and candid moments are often what makes the image intriguing. Patience, quiet but fun interaction and simple observation is the formula for photographing these adorable souls.
I am also an FAA Part 107 Licensed Commercial Drone Pilot offering aerial videography and photography.
I am located in Sedona, Arizona but can travel nationwide for your project.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to establish what kind of shoot they are looking for, the duration of the shoot and the location. I can recommend locations and what to wear and I also have helpful tips on my website. I encourage my client to send over any images that they would like to try and replicate. Most important, is building the connection to make the entire experience an enjoyable and successful one. I offer a simple book me process on my site, and my Facebook page has many albums to give my client an idea of former shoots and is helpful when selecting the location/backdrop.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for many years in front of the camera and took my knowledge and experience behind the camera. I have worked for 11 years as a professional photographer, winning several awards for my work.
