Wedding Officiant
About
I have been officiating weddings for 20 years and have led over 100 ceremonies. As an officiant, I have led large weddings, small weddings, outdoor weddings (including on a mountain and at the beach), and backyard weddings. Whether your wedding is traditional or contemporary, I can help you customize it to fit the kind of experience you are looking for.
My ceremonies are relational, upbeat and can be short or longer.
I really consider it an honor to be invited into these special moments. I enjoy helping couples create an experience that reflects their commitment to each other and something they will remember their whole life.

The first step is to talk with the couple and get a sense of what kind of ceremony they are looking for. I can either design a ceremony with the couple or can provide a ceremony template for the couple to pick and choose what they like best. After our initial conversation, I will send an outline to the couple so that they know what to expect on wedding day.
It is important to not only prepare for a great wedding day, but also for a great marriage. I provide premarital counseling for couples to help them know what to do before they say "I do." Premarital counseling sessions are $75.00 a session.

How did you get started in this business?
I have been a pastor for 20 years and so naturally had many opportunities to officiate at weddings of couples from my church. I now work for a great non-profit organization that cares for orphans and vulnerable families in Southern Africa.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have officiated weddings for young couples getting married for the first time, couples getting remarried and mature couples. I have also officiated weddings for many different Christian denominations and with people from different faith backgrounds.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Two weddings come to mind. I officiated a wedding for a couple that I did not know before we began talking about the wedding. We spent a few sessions helping the couple get to know each other's family background, communication style and vision for the future. The wedding was held at Scottsdale Bible church and it was an incredible ceremony in a beautiful chapel.
I also officiated a wedding in the backyard around sunset. It was such a fun and simple evening where we celebrated their commitment to become husband and wife. Close friends and family were there together and it was one of my favorites because it was very intimate and personal. We all shared dinner together after with the glow of the sunset.
