I love helping couples have a successful marriage and a day they will remember! Don't be nervous; just look at me!

I enjoy helping people celebrate this important day of their lives as a couple. I love the joy of that day— even if it’s the last day I interact with the couple. I generally meet with the couple one time to make sure we are a good fit and that we are clear about expectations and needs. Depending on the service needed, we meet regularly throughout the process (in person or virtually) to accomplish those goals. My goal is to help you have the wedding of your dreams and have fun doing it. Don't be nervous, just look at me!

Master of Divinity, Chicago Theological Seminary

Doctor of Ministry, Methodist Theological School in Ohio

Ordained Minister in Good Standing, United Church of Christ (since September 1988)

During the COVID-19 shelter in place. I will do a small wedding now and a larger wedding later for no additional fee. All-Inclusive Personalizing and Officiating the Wedding Ceremony: Meeting with the couple, designing the ceremony, travel to rehearsal and wedding venue, and filing the license following the ceremony. I meet with the couple to design the service that reflects them. I create the ceremony and meet with the couple regularly (in person, or via phone, email, or videoconference). Ceremonies can be as simple or as elaborate as the couple desires. $400 (Rehearsal $100)

I have always enjoyed officiating weddings! I have been ordained since 1988 and have officiated hundreds of weddings. When I moved to California, I was working in an educational setting and missed doing weddings, so started my business in 2017. I have officated over 200 weddings in the last 3 years.

Same gender loving (LGBTQIA+) couples Couples who have never been married Couples who have had previous relationships (marriages, domestic partnerships, living together, etc.) Couples with children Inter-religious couples (adding elements of each religious tradition as requested. ) Spiritual but not religious couples Non-religious couples

Each wedding is a little different. The ones that are the most fun seem to be when I have the opportunity to meet the couple before the day of the wedding. We generally meet over coffee or a meal for about 30 minutes to an hour (sometimes longer if we laugh alot!) We talk about the ideas the couple has for their ceremony and I take those notes and incorporate those ideas into their ceremony. I generally spend 2-3 hours (sometimes longer) tailoring the ceremony so it is a reflection of the couple!

Make sure the Officiant respects you and your relationship-- regardless of who you love; regardless of your gender identity or expression; regardless of your spiritual understanding. Make sure the Officiant you choose will tailor the ceremony to you, not just use the script they use for everyone else. Make sure the Wedding Coordinator and the Officiant have an opportunity to talk to each other to ensure clear expectations and a smooth ceremony.

What cultural and/or religious elements are important to include in the wedding? How long do you want the ceremony to take? (The average wedding takes 15 minutes) Who do you want to serve as witnesses? (In California, there can be 1 or 2 witnesses.)
