I've had a passion for cooking ever since I first started at 8 years old in 1997. Something about it just brought me peace and calmness whenever I stepped in the kitchen and started putting a dish together.
Even as an adult, no matter what type of stress I have in my life, when I start cooking, I feel a wave of peace and relaxation. The joy and satisfaction I feel when I see someone enjoy my dish is just a plus.
I started my career as a chef at 19. I always kept a "home base" which was a kitchen I stayed at 3-5 years. I would always keep a second, and at times a third job. At my "home base", I would move up in position to learn everything from washing dishes correctly to managing a restaurant as a whole efficiently. My 2nd and third jobs were to learn about different styles and ways of cooking, as well as learning to cook as many different cultural foods as possible and I would switch them every 6-8 months.
I would say my specialties are Mexican and Italian. I've cooking those the longest. I also know a bit about Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indian, Jamaican, French, Mediterranean, and much more.
I decided to become a certified chef 2 years into working in the kitchen. I completed a course through grosmont college. It taught us kitchen skills, food cost management, HR, customer service, kitchen safety for self and food, restaurant management and also came with a managers servsafe course. I became certified through the NRA (national restaurant association). I also majored in health and nutrition in college.
My business has been around just under 1 year, but my total combined experience in the kitchen is over 25 years.

•Private Chef Services
•Custom Meal Prep.
•Event catering is for 20-200 people and we do drop off and full service. We have a set menu, but we also do off menu items at request with enough notice in advance, so we can get pricing down and get the numbers back to you. (Min 30 days)
•Private Chef Services are for 5-30 people. Same menu and rules as the event catering, but we come to you and cook there for you privately.
We also offer Brunch, which includes the following:
-Belgium Waffle bar, made to order. Toppings options of :
Maple syrup/ whipped cream/ powdered sugar/ chocolate chip/ strawberry/ blueberry/ crushed pecans. (Chocolate chip, berries and nuts can also be used in the waffle when making it.)
-Omelette bar, made to order. Options of:
Colby jack cheese, spinach, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, bacon, sausage. (Egg white omelets are an option but must let us know when booking. Also able to use scrambles and eggs to temp.)
-brunch side dishes include:
Hash brown/ potato O'Brien/ sausage/ bacon/ fruit platter.
We can also supply champagne flutes and juice for you to make your own mimosas. We cannot supply the alcohol since we are not legally licensed to serve alcohol, yet.
