Whether you need a repair same day or have a complex fabric or adjustment, I'm here to help. I specialize in handmade alterations for women dresses, pants and jeans, as well as men’s suits. I’m an Artist and mother of two young boys. I have an art and sewing studio in my driveway where I design, sew and paint, I’m the owner of a small tailoring business also I sell my creations online and in art events. I’m a fashion designer and painter, I love helping my neighbors with my sewing skills. Being a stay home mom has given me the opportunity to showcase my artistic side. How did you get started in this business?
I’m a stay home mom and have my studio in the back, perfect time to concentrate in my passion, started by promoting my business with other moms and neighbors.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Children dresses for plays and special events, I've help brides to get their wedding gowns to fit perfectly and prom dresses adjustments, custom made clothes, men suits and coats, I've help so many neighbors with their alterations.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
replacement of lining on a coat, change the zipper to a long vest, currently sewing a night gown that is too long and lose.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Remember sometimes is cheaper to buy the clothes if you are not willing to pay for the hours of work that the seamstress will put in to making a custom made piece of clothing.
