About
I have officiated at dozens and dozens of Jewish weddings, especially of former students of mine who remember me from their own bar Mitzvahs and seek me out to bring them into this momentous step into anew life with their loved one. This includes, of course, the weddings of my own children, nephews, and their friends.
I meet with both of you, well in advance, and not only go over detal;s of the ceremony, but get to kow you and get you to express your feelings for each other. I then incorprate these very personalize elements into the traditonal Jewish wedding service with an admixture of contemporary elements. Throughout the wedding, I make sure to keep you and your guests engaged in the celebration and emphasize joy and gladness, with a measure of good humor.
I currently serve as Rabbi of Hollywood Temple Beth El and follow the approaches of Conservative Judaism. In addition to my Rabbinic career, I have operated educational services both in the US and Israel. You can find out more about me at http://vintagewein.blogspot.com
There is nothing that can beat the excitement and joy of bringing a loving couple to the ultimate step in their relationship, in which they create a Jewish home of their own in heartfelt committment to each other. It is in this committed relationship that they can reach their great human potential together.
