As an ordained pastor leading a church for nearly 25 years and having well over 100 weddings under my belt, I bring experience to the table that results in the ceremony that suits you perfectly. From formal to casual, lighthearted to thoughtful, gay or straight, traditional church setting to vineyard to hot air balloon to..., from suit and tie to whatever attire you wish, I am here to serve you toward an amazing wedding ceremoy. In addition, I also provide premarital tools and resources at no extra charge if you desire. On a personal note, I have been happily married to my wife since 1992, and have raised two beautiful children together into adulthood.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before making your decision, I will gadly send you an overview of the services I can provide so that you have a solid idea whether or not I am a good fit for your special day. In addition, I will provide a link to a video or two so you can see me in action.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a pastor for nearly 25 years, I bring a wide variety of experience to the table. I have officiated well over 100 weddings as well as other types of services. I have earned a Bachelor Degree in Psychology, a Master of Divinity degree (required for ordination), and a Doctor of Ministry degree.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My base rate is $500 to officiate a wedding ceremony which also includes any premarital meetings you may desire. If the wedding location is beyond 30 miles I ask you to cover basic mileage. If the service is just a very brief vow renewal, I charge $200.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I've enjoyed officiating so many beautiful weddings that it is difficult to pick one. Napa vineyards, private chapels, my own church sanctuary, wineries, resorts, bluffs overlooking the San Francisco Bay, a golf course in the foothills, or 1,000 feet above Napa Valley in a balloon - they are all magical.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Relatives of a couple I married approached me after the ceremony and said they wished I could have officiated their wedding. They opted for a good friend who got their ordination online and were thus "official". Most people spend thousands of dollars on their wedding day to help insure it will be everything they hope for. Why risk the very ceremony to inexperience? As you compare and contrast different people, choose someone you resonate with - that's the person who will help make the day special and personal.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
If you want a religious-informed ceremony, it would be very wise to get iinformation on what that means in terms of any homily the officiant might offer. You may get a very conservative rendering marriage that includes instruction for the role of men and women. If that's who you are, great. But if it's not, it may be an unwelcome surprise. As for me? This is your day - I will have positive words to say, crafted in a style that suits you.
