I have been a seeker of spiritual truth for over 30 years and completed a 5 year course of study in 2017 to give me the proud title of Reverend Kathy.

I faciliate weddings, memorials and rites of passages that support all spiritual beliefs, ethnicities and all sexual orientations. Sacred Service Ceremonies is about bringing Love to the forefront of a gathering of people.

I meet individually with those involved or their representaives to personalize the service, specific to your needs. After all, this is Your event and you should be able to have it the way you want, right?

Being in Service is a passion of mine. Knowing that what I do is serving a higher purpose just fills me full. And the very act of performing a marriage or commitment ceremony is a Sacred Service of the highest order. It is a personal demonstration of the power of Love and ignites the very passion of Service that is resident within me.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I spend time with them first to get an understanding of their overall beliefs and their specific desire for the Sacred Ceremony.

I go away and work through mediation and prayer with the Divine to come up with an outline that I feel confident will meet their needs. Once I have that sense of confidence, I meet again with the Ceremony Point of Contact and explain my outline, making adjustments as we talk through the process.

When we both have a sense that the Ceremony outline is complete, I fill in the details and deliver the Ceremony at the appointed time.

I typically arrive prior to our agreed upon arrival time in order to remove any last minute jitters anyone may have.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I completed a 5 year program and a 3 year apprenticeship to become an ordained interfaith minister. I am licensed with Centers for Spiritual Living (CSL) out of Golden Colorado. I've recently completed the course work necessary to be a licensed Mindfulness certified trainer.

How did you get started in this business?

I love Love and being a wedding officiant lets me celebrate the Love that is uniting a couple and brings me great personal Joy.

What types of customers have you worked with?

During Covid, I performed private weddings in people's living rooms and have faciliatated ceremonies done in spiritual dwellings as well as simple back yard affairs.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I traveled to Oregon to facilitate the wedding of the gentleman that was the best man at my wedding. It was such a treat to see him and his finance of 20 years finally tie the knot. And I got to do the tying! Yea Me.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Be clear on what you are looking for and the type of person that most resonates with your own personal style.
