What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new customer is always a great experience. We first always want to make sure we are available for that date, most of our communication is through phone or email due to us being a Mobile Food Truck and Caterer. Once we are available our customers always have the choice to book us right away or ask for a tasting. Please note our bookings are on a first come first serve basis. So we wi try our best to hold the date for you if you are requesting a taste test.
Once we have locked in your date we establish a menu and pricing to their liking. After our customers accept the menu quote we will then send an invoice for payment. We will never accept payment over the phone or ask for your card information. All payments are made through a secure system.
Once payment is received contract is drafted up if needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All employees hold a Serv Safe certificate and have been fully trained.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We offer three types of services:
Self Service (drop off)
Full Service (buffet style with servers)~ 4 to 6 hours, up to 4 servers ~all food is held in a professional chafing dish
Food truck Service (made to order) ~ 4 to 6 hours Chef Shawny personally cooks menu.
Food Truck (grab n go) 4 to 6 hours. If booking for corporate lunch and you would like to set up a grab in go buffet style. Chef Shawny will personal cook all food menu items and set up full service tent set up. Professional chafing dishes, tables, serving utensils, plates and silverware.
Each service is subjected to a service fee starting at $150

How did you get started in this business?
Our business started as private catering for corporation throughout Colorado in 2015. In 2020 when Covid hit Miss Millie's extended out to the public introducing Miss Millie's Food Truck, which she built herself along with her husband.
Since then Miss Millie's has worked with numerous events and organizations such as Aurora Chambers of Commerce, Town Center of Aurora, 5280 Artist Coop, and Aurora Police Department and Meow Wolf Denver.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have a diverse base of customers. Our customers range from corporation, non profit organizations, schools, churches and families.
