About this pro

Hello, my name is Jay Billups. I’m the owner and founder of Jay Billups Creative Media.

I’m on a mission to expand the appreciation for creativity in all forms.

I strongly believe that we are all ingenious beings and if we embrace our own particular brand of creativity we will be able to contribute more to ourselves, our family and our society.

You see, creativity is not an outcome or an end product, it is process we each use, on a daily basis, to solve problems and overcome challenges. Many people are simply not aware of the innate creative power they possess.

As a creative concierge, I focus on building long term, professional, relationships. I specialize in providing complete solutions for my clients to include, but not limited to: video, photography, design, printing, promotional items, websites graphics, etc.

Currently serving Colorado Springs, Denver and San Diego.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The most important thing to do with new customers is to listen and make your I understand the following questions.

Who are they?

What are their needs, hopes and desires for any given project?

The next step is to determine if I'm a good match for their requirements and if I can truly achieve what they want.

After the previous is established we can move on and flush out the details in an open. honest way.

My goal is to build trusting, long lasting, mutually beneficial business relationships.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with a large range of clients. I work with solo entrepreneurs for headshots and short videos up to larger companies, like CUSTOMatrix (http://CUSTOMatrix.com) and American Electrician (http://AmericanElectrician.us), for photography, video, design, and printing.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Think about the entire process and not just the end product. Does the pro listen to your needs or are they telling you what they think you should do.

Expert adice is great. However, as the client your needs and requirements should come first.
